Go with windows. Especially because of your abelton use, you will not be able to keep it. With steam if you play multiplayer competitive games then it won’t work either on Linux.
Thanks for the link, this is the kind of info I was wondering about.
I remember I blocked threads back then when they started connecting it.
On the same note, how is the interoperability between threads and the Fediverse nowadays?
Why are you so aggressively defending a false data collection method?
And what do you mean by “this website”?
You’re talking about a specific instance Lemmy.ml which isn’t even the biggest instance, but basically a tankie instance.
You should at least bring together the data of the biggest top 10 instances.
I also wonder how that website decides if I’m male or female.
Theoretically if you would host your own Lemmy/PieFed server then you would be able to access everything (as long as you host it outside of the UK I guess). And then you could keep being moderator on those communities with your new account on your own instance.
That only helps you out though, if the communities were UK specific ones and other people from the UK meet to participate then there is no other way than moving them to a UK friendly instance.
What happened? Is it the instances fault or UK’s?

Thunderbird is not a email provider, it’s email client. Gmail is both a email provider and they have a webclient you can (but don’t need to) use. You can use gmail with Thunderbird, I do that.
The question is what are you looking for a new email provider or a new email client?
The only comparable I was able to find is Bitwig Studio, but it’s quite expensive and I wasn’t doing so much music so I stopped making electronic music instead.
Yeah, the only problem is ai have PieFed open constantly, my RSS reader only once a month or even less.
Thanks for posting the links to those week in fediverse articles. It’s always a good overview.
Yeah it’s bad. Most of the points made in that article are valid.
And once Firefox is gone, all the LibreWolfs and IronFoxs are gone too.
I need to check with that model but usually yes.
