  • I had this as a lifetime plan. Although it kinda worked, It was never good. Very few servers, very slow speed, god awful apps/extension, and none of the servers close to me. I would use it as a backup of a backup. So the usage was very low.

They suddenly went dark, idk for how long. Then they came back. I decided to give it a try after I figured I should check if anything was working again. It worked but still shit and even less servers to choose from.

Yeh, I’m good. Never used it again.

It’s a surprise to me it was listed on sale and probably sold for 6 figures.

On the contrary. I want to see them reach a wider audience. I want to see FOSS, Linux, and other open-source projects become more accessible and widely available

then contribute, it’s called “open source” for a reason or at least raise an issue where the maintainers can see? Not on some random link aggregation platform about an announcement?

  • Both of them are very well documented with sources and explanations in the comments. You could pick and choose what you need and understand to create your own. Speaking from experience, using these prefs without knowing what they do might cause you a headache down the road when something breaks.

Betterfox should be the one with least breakage.
