It’s a mess, I find it ridiculous that my account and all of its data is tied to a fediverse instance (which is most often operated by a single person that could decide to shut it down at any time) and other people are ok with this
My biggest dream on Lemmy is to have a post amass over 1,000 upvotes! 🤞
