About as good as Lemmy.
About as good as Lemmy.
You are right. The normies don’t want to use Lemmy if it looks like it does today. Hell, the only reason I use it is because of a sleek mobile app.
There is a program in the Mac App Store called Magnet, could try that. I think there are some others.
Can you use a different extension/plugin?
I think Mac just added window tiling by default now. There were extensions you could install otherwise.
No, I haven’t tried, but looked it up and see it doesn’t work.
I don’t have facebook
I play GTA V on my steam deck
I like how they were like “you can’t fork this repo” and it’s like — actually yes I can.
I just built my first gaming PC, which is the first gaming rig I’ve owned in 20 years. I did so because I could install all the games I wanted to play on Linux. I haven’t installed Windows and do not plan to.
Wow, today I learned. Nintendo is pretty protective of its IP, so it’s nuts that these were allowed to be made by another company in the first place.
Looks cool, and a major first letting players be Zelda
Niche is like “heatpumps” or “succulents” or just any random topic that you want to learn more about.
For me, Reddit was always invaluable for getting initial information on anything I needed to check out for the first time.
If you hard.
Then you hard.

The name is very unfortunate, not just because it’s weird, but also because they will likely face a lawsuit from the actual company GoTo.
Haven’t heard much about them lately, which I just learned through this post is because they defederated from everyone else. Anything I’ve read about them is that they want a certain type of community, but beyond that they’re really vague. I avoided signing up for their instance because they seemed kind of uptight and I’d rather be in a place that is welcoming to more people with diverse interests. It’s going to be hard to replace Reddit and being too uptight about who joins just kind of seems like a recipe not to have enough people to have an active community.
I don’t even pay for prime for streaming. Watched a movie or two on there when it was something I wanted to see and found out it was free on Prime. Otherwise, I use it for the expedited shipping. I did briefly cancel in 2021, but the spouse complained. We split it now anyway, so it’s cheaper. Overall, though the quality of products offered on Amazon has gone way down hill. If the product is something that doesn’t need to be quality, it’s fine, but if you’d have to replace the item if it is not quality, you’re better off skipping Amazon. The value proposition is declining.
What was iddqd? My guess is gore, but not interested to check.
I’m one. As a Mac user, I haven’t used windows in years, and avoid it like the plague. But, the limited games support meant I had to rely on consoles to get my gaming fix. With Steam’s strong support for Linux, I decided to build a gaming PC for Linux only. It’s been great. I just wish more publishers would support it — the ones adding kernel-level anti-cheat are ruining things, but I’m hoping if enough people switch to Linux, they won’t be able to ignore us.
