Just my two cents: I’ve had occasional problems with games through steam on dual monitors. Things like losing mouse focus or changing resolution on the other monitor (though that hasn’t happened for a long time).
Monitors are old Asus. I won’t bother looking up the models as I’m sure they’re outdated
MythTV has movie/TV and music libraries, so it’s not too different than the other two. Also, you can use a tv tuner like TVheadend with jellyfin.
I used MythTV for years and eventually switched to Kodi to get more modern UIs. I eventually separated the server part with jellyfin to get more flexibility, keeping Kodi on little raspberry pi boxes as clients

I don’t think you appreciate how remote many people are in the US. There’s now way they would ever run cable or ISDN out to them. A run of an ISDN line can only be really short.
