Truly the most frustrating trend since it started.

To me the Fiverr thing was clearly a really bad taste dark humor joke and a test of if they’d really write anything you told them to rather than his actual beliefs. It was really dumb and irresponsible to keep in the video though.
Did you say especially the Taylor Swift armpit one? You perv.
And I really do appreciate that. He’s doing some good stuff and really hope pixelfed and loops (and sup) continue on the momentum that they’ve got and gain a substantial enough Userbase that they’re really enjoyable to use. Just wanted to add the extra context because I think that’s relevant too!
The app is really bare bones. It’s also not federated (yet, but use a product for what it is right now, not what it promises to be).
Has potential but also dansup keeps running head-first into controversial takes.
Another nothinger! How’s the 2a? Sorry, I know it’s off topic, just curious.
It’s just too bad that Riot seems so inherently against supporting Linux. I still enjoy playing ARAMs for watching YouTube on the side and the occasional Val session. Obviously for Val I can just boot over but I do play league about daily.
Inb4 “just don’t play league, it’s bad anyway” yeah thanks, solid solution
Wait this seems pretty clean. How does it compare to LibreOffice?
What’s the logic here? That servers used to host files run Linux? Windows systems distribute malware too.
I think I would be very interested in this version of doing things. Would it be feasible to build a link aggregator on that protocol? I don’t like the microblogging UX.
Honestly that’s a fair point too.
I think in the email they sent out they mentioned that each IP would be able to download 5 per 24 hours and “registered users” 10 per 24 hours. Paid members would be restricted to 1,000 per 24 hours.
It’s 15 bucks a year for VIP, if I understood it correctly, then I am of the opinion there is nothing here to get mad about for “regular users”.
Agreed!
Stuttering on my phone as well. Guess it’s probably just not at all optimized
My first good bot of the fediverse goes to you, you good bot.
Because of the physics and destruction along with all the unique weapons and gadgets each of the 3 classes has, you can be really creative in your play style.
There’s multiple modes to play, from more casual ones like power shift, here you try to push a platform from the middle to the enemy side by occupying it while the enemy tries to push it the opposite way. The main game mode is Cashout, which will have you stealing increasingly valuable vaults and depositing them at Cashout stations. Once they’re in there, they have a countdown of about a minute or so (I’m not sure about exact timing) during which any other team can try to steal, so it comes down to defending it or losing your cash. Kills also grant cash. Team with the most cash wins.
Ranked play consists of tournaments, several rounds of Cashout where the poorest two of four teams get eliminated at each stage until only two are left.
If you’re interested in cosmetics, the game has hands down the best system by far in my opinion and the cosmetics themselves look absolutely gorgeous.
The monetization is generally pretty player friendly, you can buy individual items from a bundle which will then decrease the bundle price by that items value if you decide to get it so there’s no pressure to buy bundles but you can always change your mind at no extra cost. You can get previous battle passes now in case you missed them. Only thing is that they have a controversial “premium” battle pass now.
The sponsor system is really fun and provides a fun in-game integration of the lore of the game along with progression systems and free rewards.
There’s just a lot of love put into the game and it tries to be on the side of the user. The devs generally listen.
It’s the best game that didn’t take off in my opinion.
I love this game.
