Having the pricing model upfront is a good thing. Running these services costs money, and I’d rather know what their plan is now than be surprised in the future.

I’ve been running invidious on my home network for over a year now, no issues other than when YouTube makes changes that break for every inv user anyway.

9·3 months agoI don’t personally count “embedded development-related” as “general computing” so I think there’s a disconnect there. 😅
Most people I know primarily use their desktop computers for games. Bazzite also works great for general purpose computing, although it isn’t advertised as such.
Seems like the use-case would be if you wanted to add a GPU to the Pi, which seems to be becoming more popular to use for a NAS, transcoding, and local LLMs.
Seems like “premium features” only apply to users on the flagship server. If you self-host you get everything.
