This is disgusting. Does anyone have a list of sites so I can block them all right now?

Gemini looks cool, but I wonder if Gemtext isn’t a bit too simple. I think the ideal format would be to go back to the idea of “hypertext”, without the CSS and Javascript.
I know that’s what CSS is supposed to do, but I’m not sure many people use it that way.
Awesome. I was there in 2006 when this project got off the ground. If I remember correctly, it was a fork of TuxKart, since the author could not be reached in order to take over the project (or they didn’t want to hand over maintenance).
It was a part of the Linux Game Tome forums Game of the Month. I think there were really only ever two - SuperTux and SuperTuxKart. The idea behind GotM was to get devs and artists to all focus on one game to make some improvements. In reality, people got attached and never moved on the the next project. I still think it was a success, though!
They’ve both been mentioned multiple times already, but I think you need to try out both Logseq and Obsidian and pick whichever you like better. They are both very similar, but take slightly different approaches. There are also plugins for each to make them behave more like the other.
I personally use Logseq because it’s open source and I like the daily journal and outlining features. I used and enjoy obsidian, too, and it has plugins to improve journals and outlining.
Ya, same way I don’t accidentally read across two pages of a book. This one seems fine to me, but I think it still fits the community.
I am not an IP lawyer, but to me, service manuals and wiring diagrams are not creative works and therefore not subject to copyright anyway.
Of the 50ish Amiga floppy disks we had, I think Bubble Bobble was the only one my dad actually bought.
In North America we can’t even get signal lights to not look different than break lights. I hope Europe has better luck.
Edit: that sounds like an awesome idea
As a left-leaning Canadian, this seems crazy to me. There’s not even a place for me on this chart.
It’s crazy how normalized right-wing extremism is. Well, it does explain the state of things in the US, though.
I don’t think this is the worst outcome. It would have been worse if he was the face of Rust in Linux and it died out over ten years instead of one.
That being said, hopefully it can get a fresh start.
Create a PR and describe the situation. Ask if they’ll accept the PR as-is or if they’d accept the refactors separately.
That’s why I use LILO.
Just stick with the brand 😿
I don’t know, but I have H and L remapped to ^ and $, which I like.
Wait til he finds out about “email”.
Ya, AI is not the story here.
