OpenVPN into my router
Interesting, I appreciate the explanation.
It’s crazy how much a single node instance can max out my huge desktop CPU, so I can imagine.
I’m curious, why would VS Code be installed on the server and not a developers machine?
If you don’t want to go the Emacs or Vim routes, try Kate. Neovim is amazing but Kate is too from what I hear. Similar support for LSPs.
I won’t be backing this but it has caught my interest. If/when this launches in a couple years, I may finally upgrade from my Librem 5.
I write closed source, proprietary code for a living.
That makes me sad.
Have your developers any advice on how to get paid to write Free Software?

Phosh kicks ass
Been using and enjoying this app on my L5 for some time.

Not OP but use emails as an example.
You can sign up for an email account with many providers. They handle your account and store your mail. You can still send and receive emails to people from other email providers/domains.
Um, my phone?
You should update the list with Linux phones.
Phosh is good, very lightweight. Plasma is good, I have used it on a touch laptop. Never tried Plasma Mobile.
That whole community is just one guy posting memes. Some are funny but mostly its just odd how much he hates Linux.
Whatever :)
What did you find you either liked or disliked about the GTK + Python combo for building this?
