Copyright companies losing the case wouldn’t make copyright any shorter.
Getting attention.
Yup, just takes a single person!
The last 6 months have been the longest decade of my life.
They are mad that mRNA worked on COVID, which made the ‘it isn’t worse than the flu derp a derp’ crowd mad.
They want to destroy anything that might show they were wrong.
This is the ‘not all men’ of AI.
We know that there are use cases but with the massive prevalence of LLMs and image generators being forced into everything we don’t need to list the exclusions every single time.
Having families hasn’t kept any CEO from doing whatever they want whenever they want.
When it comes to making money a functional AI would institute work from home, a shorter work week, and the other improvements that have proven records of increasing productivity. It wouldn’t be petty and change things to just change things or make work worse for everyone to establish dominance.
We don’t have functional AI yet, but in the mythical land of logical and evidence based AI it would absolutely run things better than a human without needing some kind of threat.
This snippet summarizes my AI forced into everything experience, especially when I was prompted to have my text message summarized. I said no, and the message was “Ok”
What text messages are being sent that need to be summarized?
which mostly means that Apple aggressively introduced people to the features of generative AI by force, and it turns out that people don’t really want to summarize documents, write emails, or make “custom emoji,” and anyone who thinks they would is a fucking alien.
Great analysis. I still have no idea how they think they will ever make their money back.
The last time I checked the piefed layout options weren’t my thing, but I’ll give it another shot.
Once an order has been received, merchants can then initiate real-time communications to clarify any special requests, check dietary or allergy requirements, or inform them of out-of-stock items to discuss alternatives.
They won’t though, because that takes time restaurant employees don’t have or they would be doing it already.
Personal labels/tags or whatever they are called for both users and communities would be awesome to have in the standard lemmy front end. I think some apps or other formats might have them, but I do like the default lemmy interface and they would be extremely handy to have saved by an account for personal reminders.
Some examples would be the ability to set personal reminders for uncommon rules on specific communities or who has good takes on some random topic. There are just so many of both and it can be hard to keep similarly named things straight.
Hopefully my frequent playing of 90s music playlists works out!
Maybe you csn make amends over the next 10 years, then give the trip another go and all end up mutant zombies from the inevitable toxic waste spill.
“I tried you warn you, but no, you took it as a challenge!”
Not even regular idiots, hypocritical idiots.
“Thank you for wasting my time.”
It is the second thing. They could just delete the regulations they don’t like outright, inserting AI into the process is just to pretend it was some logical process.
No, they don’t have to use defective technology just becsuse everyone else is.
Google had a feature for converting units way before the AI boom and there are multiple websites that do conversions and calculations with real logic instead of LLM approximation.
It is more like asking a random person who will answer whether they know the right answer or not. An encyclopedia or catalog at least have some time of a time frame context of when they were published.
Putting the data into tables and other formats isn’t helpful if the data is wrong!
Copyright owners winning the case maintains the status quo.
The AI companies winning the case means anything leaked on the internet or even just hosted by a company can be used by anyone, including private photos and communication.
