Interesting choice of browser. Solipsism. I’m not interested in the webview variant, so I installed their Antares engine which is based on Servo. Tried it a little bit, but the browser keeps crashing with Antares activated. I’ll check again when it’s more stable.

My automatic weekly backup ran for the first time last night. Everything worked nicely.

I didn’t like the Reddit UI either (old and new), that’s why I used 3rd party apps to access it. When they closed down the API, I left. Reddit always had UI problems.

You can easily selfhost a portal like that with wander or try one of these linked wander consoles.

Wafrn is wild. I don’t use it regularly, but everytime I go there, there are walls of custom emoji reactions, individuals who post wild stuff I don’t understand and hundreds reacting to it with custom emojis that I don’t know the meaning of. I love it.
Nice idea. Could you include a universal link in every post, like !newcommunities@lemmy.world? Some communities have it in their bio, but not all of them.

This isn’t the corporate web, donate blood, don’t sell it.
By commenting this on a federated platform, you have contributed to the open web. The fediverse is nothing if there’s no content / interactions, like your comment. I know what you mean and it might not seem like much, but you are building shit.

Another quite similar service in Germany would be mail.de
Never heard of them. But their website says “try ad-free”. That implies that they display ads after the trial!? If that’s the case, they can’t be trusted.
Hi, I got a couple questions that aren’t answered on your transparency page yet.
