I feel equally surprised that you feel the way you do. I’ve never met anyone with your opinions before, and they seem very extreme. We’re living very different lives, I guess.

I think OpenSUSE, at least, has changed/improved the installer since the last time I used it. It remains to be seen whether it’ll be easier to handle my existing partitions or just more arcane, since I’ll have no previous experience, even vague memories.
I wasn’t asking anything.
But, you’re right, what I’m wondering is actually if there will turn out to be side effects that we don’t realize until these have been in use for decades.
I guess that’s the difference. I don’t tend to format mine often, if ever.
It is amazing that you can buy a TB drive these days, especially at the size they are. And amazing you can fill one up.
It’s good to keep that sense of wonder, IMO.
Is it possible that old system files are your problem? I’ve never had problems with any version of GE or Lutris.
It was still like that up until Windows 8, at least.
I agree. I’ve never had one stop working.
Every time I reinstall, it takes me a while to remember how I did it last time.
You can change the personality it takes on using the system prompt.
I wonder if there will be any long-team side effects.
I’m curious. How does acid change listening to music?
My parents only let me listen to Spanish language music when I was little, so I wouldn’t understand the cursing. 😂
Community colleges may offer cheap foreign language classes.
I picked up a few that I’ve been wanting to try.
That was probably the smart way to do it, anyway.
This is what I did. I set up autoresponse giving out an address that redirects to my new email address. My parents called me to see if I was hacked. Everyone else just started using the new address.
I think it would be worthwhile, and probably help some people.
This is what I did.
Eating lunch at school meets a basic human need and doesn’t really have a downside, though. It seems like there’s increasing reason to believe that cellphones, social media, online classes, etc actually hurt young people’s psychological and social development. I can understand why some parents would be wary of feeding into that.
