It feels similar (though not identical) to projects mirroring posts and comments from Reddit. Sure, the content is there, but the people aren’t.

That said, it might be better than nothing, but you should look into its current limitations.

I think it’s a holdover from when the markdown was not automatically converted to a link. I wish the devs would remove the “feature”, because at this point it’s more of a hindrance than a help.
