Can confirm, I have tens of terabytes of content and stream 4K content regularly from 7200 rpm drives. Never an issue, even in the slightest. Always buttery smooth playback without buffering, even on WiFi.

I’ve stood by while my colleagues have used it. I ask them a question they might know, just to check before I start spending time reading documentation. They’ll go “just ask Bing!” (Company endorsed AI.)

They’ll keep prompting and prompting and discussing the results, meanwhile I just go directly to the docs and find the information right there written on the screen.

I won’t subject myself to the dumbification. I don’t even use copilot to auto-complete as much as a for loop. I know how it’s written, damnit.

That’s exactly the case, yeah. Firefox doesn’t seem to notice sometimes. It’s not every time either so it’s been hard to pinpoint what the circumstances have to be… 😅

Right, so do I. It’s just that I have it set to follow the system theme, which I suppose Firefox reports as light mode even though dark mode is active.
