AliExpress is one of the worst offenders. If you want “useful” notifications (like order updates) you have to put up with their ads and deals bs. I turn them all off.

I think it’s mostly lemmy.world issue, since (for some reason) is Sync’s default, instead of suggesting smaller instances.

Sounds interesting, but sometimes you just want to listen to something while minding your businesses, not interact or anything. Let’s see how it does, for those amateur radio hosts.
