The notification light for me was never all that useful, i have unique ringtones for everything but i do agree they are an awesome feature for folks in spaces where their phones need to be quiet

Omg yes, i miss Android phones with keyboards, i had an lg one and that keyboard got so much use that a few buttons died.
Hmmm, that’s deffo a contender for my next device, we’ll see how many years i get out of my zf9 before getting one though lol
Most manufacturers dropped all or most of those features.
Open bootloaders, ir blaster, 3.5mm jack, sd card slot, replaceable batteries. The list goes on.
Oh i didn’t know about that, i bought a zf9 a few years ago, how unfortunate i know they also dropped a bunch of features and crammed a ton of ai garbage on it so i paid it little mind.
Asus is good too
Edit: not any more
My dad had a Knoppix boot CD in a case with all the games, of course I messed with it as a curious child, I have no idea how old I was, but it was my first foray into the wonderful world of not Windows.
Now if only call screening was available on all devices that’d be great.
Don’t insult pigs like that they are amazing animals.
That is the most delicious flavor of that pasta I’ve ever read.
Same for me, i still have win 10 installed and updated (for the couple things i haven’t migrated).
If it doesn’t run on Linux it doesn’t deserve my money at this point.
I had a friend who was about as computer illiterate as they come, they had a crappy gateway laptop(netbook maybe) that had kubuntu on it they preferred it to when they had win vista(yes this was forever ago, i replaced vista with kubuntu because it was lighter than gnome at the time) they loved the kde interface and most of what they did was Myspace Tumblr and Facebook, but even they managed to figure out play on Linux and wine after a few months
Depends on the device and the use case, mostly FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, EXT4
Afaik, you can just download windows and run it, you’ll just get an “activate windows” prompt that might be annoying. It’s great if you just want to try something out if you need windows to update firmware of a peripheral.
Yeah, that’s my next watch maker when this one becomes completely incapable of function, i like the look of the instinct crossover
I like getting 1-2 months of battery life, afaik the pixel watch doesn’t do more than a day or two
I love my hybrid, i like having “just a watch” that can show me a notification and the first few words and let me control my music without pulling out my phone, fossil smart watches will be missed
Good thing i never updated mine from stock firmware, haven’t had any overheating issues.
Edit: i never use it for anything important, it’s effectively a spare device i use for anything i can’t do on my main device.
