I can’t wait until phones can be docked to act as desktops.
I know Samsung Dex does this, but my understanding is that it’s not really well supported.

Thanks for this.
I have a genuine question.
My wife’s MacBook Air has 8gb of ram, my desktop has 16gb of ram.
Why do phones need so much ram?
I just started using an android for watching. I’m using newpipe. Is there a different app yo use to get sponsorblock?
I’m sorry, I’m also not getting this. My understanding is that they cannot block the sites. But it looks like are doing it. I find it a little confusing.
I’m all for letting servers choose what they want to ban and allow. Its easy enough to just create a new account on a different server if you do not agree with the server admins decisions.
That’s the beauty of federation. The user can also setup his own instance to access the content if he wishes. He might have to learn how to do it, but its totally doable.
Linux is just all around snappier for me than windows is. I never have to wait, but on windows there are always delays opening windows and for some reason it will keep trying to generate thumbnails.
I really hate using windows. I’m a worse worker because of it. I’m just waiting for the m3 Macs to switch.
Sadly, my work stuff does not work on Linux. So I have a second computer for most of my work.
Yeah I figured I’d just the the absolute minimum for both countries.
Going based off minimum wage of the country I’m in compared to the us minimum wage of $7.25, it’s like charging $60 for the game.
These numbers are estimates, but it kinda shares an idea of pricing. I’m not sure if the us is still 7.25 though.
Good point! I’d be to scared to buy one as it might be an undercover op 😂😂
Plus it’s too easy to get online for free anyway.
In the last 10 years, I stopped in this gas station off a busy road in my home town. They have bootleg dvds just on the counter.
I can’t believe that place didn’t get shutdown. There is a police station just a few blocks away.
I would still not recommend it. If the drive fails and data is lost or corrupted it could also be lost or corrupted on the other drive.
It would really be better to use backup software to save your data. Also depending on how the drive is used, it may put less wear on the second drive if you use a backup application.
Don’t use raid for backing up use a backup program instead. I’d recommend vorta or kopia.
I use ext4 for my boot drive as that’s what Linux mint defaults to.
I do not do raids and use btrfs on my other drives.
You can turn on compression on write with btrfs which may reduce the amount of data being read and written to your drive which could further reduce its lifespan.
But you shouldn’t expect the drives to last 10 years.
They might, but don’t expect it and have a backup of whatever is important. Ideally you should have a local backup and a cloud based backup or at least an offsite backup somewhere else.
But can they be sure the nsa is not watching?
I did not consider that. I am surprised that any government even allows Windows to be used.
Thanks, office 365 doesn’t even work.
I’m in the process of converting the files so I’m it dependent on office, but it’s hundreds of files and it needs to be done manually.
At least the x key works on my phone.
