I would like lemmy as a whole to know more of this comic. Hell, the entire tech and coding space. Look, i love tech but some of you guys can be absolute bellends to people not knowing something and it turns plenty of people off from even learning.

I wish they didn’t fuck the public transit directions in general, if I want to use them I used to be able to say “i just want to use the train”

Now it’s impossible because it automatically decides I wanted to use a bus to connect to each train stop, not allowing for the correct calculations to make a route based on train and foot traffic only. It’s not like I can just ignore the bus options because suddenly that means an hour walk. I’m back to the dark ages of printing out fucking directions

You may actually be right. The only extra step would be placing them back into a font compiler just without whatever metadata originally existed

So I personally would use illustrator or inkscape, one thing you have to really understand though is while this isn’t very hard it will be very time consuming and monotonous. Just be warned. On average that could be 200-400 characters you have to trace, export, and put into a font compiler. Thousands if you’re doing a multilingual font. Again, You can do this, but I mostly meant it as a joke, it will be very tedious

Well, if you really want to keep it you could drag it into a vector graphic editing software and trace each letter, make your own font set
