[https://lemmy.world/c/cptsd@lemmy.ml] SOME STUFF : Don’t reply to DMs, except
if you completely trust the user ! You can use an temporary or throwaway account
if you feel uncomfortable with public sharing of your story. IF YOU’RE
EXPERIENCING SEVERE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST REPORTED
TO THIS TOPIC. Specific rule regarding potentially triggering or sexually
explicit content! If you decide to share your story here, and it includes one or
more potential “Trigger Warnings,” please specify them in the title! This should
be done in the following format: TW: ONEWORD, ANOTHERWORD, etc., listing all
potential TWs. If you choose to include explicit content (which is your right
depending on your story and your need for advice), I would greatly appreciate it
if you marked your posts as NSFW (18+) in the title! The labels “TW” and “NSFW
(18+)” can be combined if necessary. Please respect this rule. It’s very
important that all our users feel comfortable, and that’s why I want to avoid
making our communities uncomfortable. In case of harmful behavior of an user,
please comment in the pinned feed I created here. PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE
POSTING. RULES : Rule 1) Be kind and civil. Be polite. All behaviors involving
victim blaming will result into a ban. Rule 2) I recommend that you avoid
sending private messages to users who post here as much as possible. If you do,
your behavior must remain appropriate and respectful; otherwise, you could be
reported and banned. Rule 3) This may seem obvious, but don’t encourage the OP
to engage in self-destructive or risky behavior. Remember the person behind the
screen. Don’t pressure the OP to do this or that; instead, suggest actions and
support them as best you can.
I’m feminist. So, I created a space for the survivors and their loved ones. Be kind with the posters, or you can get banned.

I’d suggest changing the name to something a little bit more neutral…
Yes have to agree with Sinaf on the name.
You may want to consider the name. I feel this is already highly confrontational.
Additionally the feminist aspect. I’m not sure that’s relevant as SA is committed against all genders.
I understand you might have the intent of helping but TBH it feels more activist than safe. This may just be a language barrier.
For your points :
Name : too late sorry. It’s created, and I doubt we can change the community link. My goal was make the migration of Reddit easier. On Reddit, the support communities are called rape, rapecounseling, SexualAssault and MenGetRapedToo. If you read these names, they sound like kinks spaces. Some stupid fetichest users like this trash little piece of shit of u/aldwin-aldwin (who have blaming my experience) understand them like kinks, but I promise you it’s not the content.
Feminist aspect : I was just tired last nigt and don’t want to create 4 communities…
This isn’t Reddit.
Maybe listening to the feedback would make it feel more accessible, esp in this topic.
I’m fixing some problems right now. In all cases, I appreciate the feedback.
Why do you say “neutral” ? What am I doing wrong here ? Sorry, I really don’t understand.
You named the community a 4 letter very charged word
Oh, but it’s the topic. My goal is if a person search the “r word” or SZ, she found the community.
Naming it rape makes it sound like a community/sub for people with rape fetishes. I actually like sexual assault survivors much better. Or maybe you could call it sasurvivors for short.
But it’s too late now 🥲 Do I need to create a community exclusively dedicated to rape victims and another ones to SA Survivors ? And finally, the rapeallies community for “the loved ones” of both communities ?
So it’s only for women?
No. The description says “Women and men are welcome here”. I used “she” for "person.
