I’m feminist. So, I created a space for the survivors and their loved ones. Be kind with the posters, or you can get banned.
I’d suggest changing the name to something a little bit more neutral…
Yes have to agree with Sinaf on the name.
You may want to consider the name. I feel this is already highly confrontational.
Additionally the feminist aspect. I’m not sure that’s relevant as SA is committed against all genders.
I understand you might have the intent of helping but TBH it feels more activist than safe. This may just be a language barrier.
For your points :
Name : too late sorry. It’s created, and I doubt we can change the community link. My goal was make the migration of Reddit easier. On Reddit, the support communities are called rape, rapecounseling, SexualAssault and MenGetRapedToo. If you read these names, they sound like kinks spaces. Some stupid fetichest users like this trash little piece of shit of u/aldwin-aldwin (who have blaming my experience) understand them like kinks, but I promise you it’s not the content.
Feminist aspect : I was just tired last nigt and don’t want to create 4 communities…
- for SA fem victims
- for SA male victims
- for supporters of the previous SA victims
- for public information. So, I’ll fix that today.
This isn’t Reddit.
Maybe listening to the feedback would make it feel more accessible, esp in this topic.
I’m fixing some problems right now. In all cases, I appreciate the feedback.
Why do you say “neutral” ? What am I doing wrong here ? Sorry, I really don’t understand.
You named the community a 4 letter very charged word
Oh, but it’s the topic. My goal is if a person search the “r word” or SZ, she found the community.
Naming it rape makes it sound like a community/sub for people with rape fetishes. I actually like sexual assault survivors much better. Or maybe you could call it sasurvivors for short.
But it’s too late now 🥲 Do I need to create a community exclusively dedicated to rape victims and another ones to SA Survivors ? And finally, the rapeallies community for “the loved ones” of both communities ?
So it’s only for women?
No. The description says “Women and men are welcome here”. I used “she” for "person.
