I mean, abstaining from animal products makes someone a vegan, right? If you abstain from AI products then it would follow that you’re an “AI vegan”.

You only notice AI-generated content when it’s bad/obvious, but you’d never notice the AI-generated content that’s so good it’s indistinguishable from something generated by a human.

I don’t know what percentage of the “good” content we see is AI-generated, but it’s probably more than 0 and will probably go up over time.

I don’t really care how a frame is generated if it looks good enough (and doesn’t come with other notable downsides like latency). This almost feels like complaining about screen space reflections being “fake” reflections. Like yeah, it’s fake, but if the average player experience is consistently better with it than without it then what does it matter?

But it does come with increased latency. It also disrupts the artistic vision of games. With MFG you’re seeing more fake frames than real frames. It’s deceptive and like snake oil in that Nvidia isn’t distinguishing between fake frames and real frames. I forget what the exact comparison is, but when they say “The RTX 5040 has the same performance as the RTX 4090” but that’s with 3 fake frames for every real frame, that’s incredibly deceptive.

There’s lots of ways to make existing hardware more efficient at the cost of performance. Under-volting the CPU and RAM (or just putting them in “efficiency” mode) can probably save more electricity than you lose in generational improvements. Considering how much more powerful PCs are compared to SBCs, you’d probably still have better performance than an SBC. Also, a more powerful CPU that takes double the power but as a result can idle for more than 50% of the time would be more efficient than a less powerful CPU never idling.

There’s a lot of other variables (like idle power draw, efficiency at various power levels, idle latency, etc), but in general I think your statement would be inaccurate at least 60% of the time.
